Maes Y Neuadd

Maes Y Neuadd

Maes Y Neuadd is a substantial Grade II listed Welsh slate and stone residence set into the hillside, offering an abundance of history, charm and spectacular views of Mount Snowdon and Cardigan Bay.
Comprising an historic 14th century Grade II listed former country house hotel with coach house
Maes Y Neuadd is steeped in history, with the land originally being gifted by the King to the first Lord Lieutenant of Merionethshire where as a Royalist estate, it was visited on a number of occasions by Oliver Cromwell. From the mid 17th century it became the principle home of the Wynn family until the early 20th century, when it was converted to an exclusive country house hotel with legendary guests such as Jackie Kennedy Onassis and Edward Kennedy, Kylie Minogue, Nigel Mansell and the Attenborough brothers.
