West Kennet Long Barrow Ghost Dog
This pale hound has been seen at sunrise, appearing to mark the start of the year’s longest day. According to some accounts, the dog is followed by a phantom druid. A witness heard a nearly unbearable high-pitched sound in 1995 before seeing a Neolithic man emerge from the barrow and walk away. The witness fled because he was frightened. In 1996, a witness felt as if they had hit an invisible wall and that something was trying to drive them back, and they later read about someone who had been seized by invisible hands four years ago.
