I have seen two different spirit orbs, each at a different time and place.
The first was fairly normal and after dark, as it was bright white and maybe about softball sized, and it seemed to be about 75 yards away, behind the tops of some pine trees, and it would move behind the tree-tops whenever I moved to get a clear sight of it. After 5 minutes or more it became too obscure somehow, and I lost sight of it.
The second was in the main room of a back-country motel, near the front desk, by a fireplace. The room was two storied, as there were rooms on both floors that opened into the same space. There were four adults and two dogs there, and one adult was a woman. I noticed a large, transparent, slightly glowing, homogeneous yellow, orb move slowly from the stonework to the left of the hearth out into the center of the room and then stop there for about 30 seconds, then it moved just as slowly back to where it had come, and it continued on into the stonework without any difficulty or effect as it passed into solid matter. It made no noise, had no smell, and it was about 3&1/2 feet in diameter, and it was about 1 foot off the ground, and I was the only one who could see it, except for the dogs. Shortly after I first saw it, the dogs moved in and started barking at it vigorously, and didn’t stop until after it had moved into the stonework. During the incident, the owners tried to calm the animals down, and at one point asked us what they were barking at, so I pointed and said, “That! Don’t you see it?” Nobody answered me, and neither did they ask me what I was seeing. They were spooked, but both I and it felt rather calm, and I viewed it as being rather intriguing. Nobody tried to touch it, not even the dogs.
